PADI® Divemaster - DM

  • Minimum age 18 years or 16 years for the PADI® Junior Divemaster
  • PADI® Rescue Diver or equivalent completed
  • Sound diving experience (at least 40 logged dives at the beginning and at least 60 dives at the end)
  • Medical certificate (not older than 1 year)
  • First aid training with cardiopulmonary resuscitation (not older than 2 years!). I recommend that you take our PADI® EFR course.
  • Time required approximately 50 hours

  • After obtaining PADI® Divemaster status, you can do the following:

  • Practical exercise' programs that can be carried out independently by the Divemaster

  • Regular course:
    In the regular course you take part in the PADI® course together with a group. We will look for dates together when we can meet.

    Private course:
    There are two or more of you and you want to be on your own. Then a private course with us is just the thing for you. You are together as a group and indicate when the dates suit you and when we meet.

    VIP course:
    Are you alone and want to be able to schedule your appointments flexibly? The VIP course is just right for you.

    The PADI Divemaster course teaches you everything a dive leader needs to know and be able to do to take responsibility for the activities of certified divers. You will learn the knowledge and skills for this in lessons to develop your knowledge in practical water lessons and workshops and during various assessments. Topics and practical workshops are:

    - Role and characteristics of the PADI Divemaster
    - Supervision of general diving skills for certified divers and assisting in the training of divers
    - Diving safety and risk management
    - Programs and special skills that can be carried out independently by the Divemaster
    - Diving as a business and your career Awareness for the underwater world
    - Organization and management of a dive site
    - Making a map of the dive site
    - Implementation of briefings
    - Organization of search-and-recovery scenarios and a deep dive
    - Implementation of the ReActivate program and supervision in the Skin Diver (snorkel diver) course
    - Assist with the Discover Scuba Diving program and conduct the Discover Local Diving program.
    Your instructor can also offer you the PADI Deep Diver and Search and Recovery Diver specialty courses along with your Divemaster training to help you meet all requirements and expand your skills.
