PADI® Altitude Diver (High-Altitude Diving)
Most bodies of water in Switzerland are located above 300 meters above sea level (according to Wikipedia, Switzerland’s average elevation is 1,350 meters above sea level). As you already know, atmospheric pressure is added to the relative pressure. Since atmospheric pressure is lower at higher altitudes, this affects my zero-time limit. But how? What do I need to keep in mind?

Regular course:
In the regular course you take part in the PADI® course together with a group. We will look for dates when we can meet together.
Private course:
There are two or more of you and you want to be on your own. Then our private course is just right for you. You are together as a group and indicate when the dates suit you and when we meet.
VIP course:
Are you alone and want to be able to schedule your appointments flexibly? Then the VIP course is just right for you.

You'll learn about the effects of pressure at higher altitudes and how to adjust your dive plan accordingly. In this course, you'll complete two dives and learn:
- Dive planning, organization, procedures, and techniques for diving at higher altitudes.
- Set your dive computer for diving at higher altitudes, or plan your dive profile at higher altitudes using the RDP table or the eRDP-MLTM.
- How to avoid problems and deal with any emergencies that may arise at high altitudes.
There are ways to earn credit! The first dive of this PADI specialty course can count as an adventure dive toward your Advanced Open Water Diver certification—ask your PADI instructor about the credit options.
